Very rare, highly collectible hand painted original three sheet movie poster of the cult Hollywood film, Scarface (1983) for sale.

Featured here for sale is a very rare surviving original three sheet poster of the cult American crime thriller Scarface, which starred Al Pacino in the lead role as Cuban drug lord Tony Montana.

This three sheet Scarface movie poster measures a stunning 80″x40″ inches when its three individual sheets are joined together. This original Scarface movie poster was intended to be displayed inside a cinema foyer in India that actually screened Scarface in the 1980s! One of the only surviving posters of its kind, this Scarface poster has been designed using a combination of both hand painted techniques used along with photographic stills.

Only a handful of copies of this poster are known to exist in the world, making it truly one of a kind. Must have for serious Scarface collectors & Al Pacino fans!

Designed, printed and circulated in India somewhere in the 1980s during the film’s release in India, this Al Pacino Scarface poster was originally intended for publicity inside a cinema hall but never ended up being used.

This beautiful hand painted Scarface movie poster for sale features a large painting of Al Pacino holding a pistol on the top, while Michelle Pfeiffer appears in a smaller hand painted avatar alongside.

Scarface was released under an A rating (Adult) in India particularly primarily because of its violent scenes (such as the chainsaw massacre) and partially due to nudity depicted in the climax where Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio (Gina Montana) is seen in a revealing nightgown. The three individual sheets are numbered as Bit I, Bit II & Bit III printed on the borders. In the photograph shown alongside, there might be a slight gap visible between the three sheets as each sheet has been photographed individually and a composite image has been created by joining them together digitally. When put together, the three sheets will line up perfectly and there will be no gap between the same – i.e. the result will appear as one seamless poster.

Scarface is a cult 1983 American crime drama directed by Brian De Palma and stars one of the greatest Hollywood actors of all time, Al Pacino in the lead role. A remake of a 1932 film of the same name, Scarface has amassed a cult following worldwide over the years. It is today regarded by many as one of the best gangster movies of all time.
