Featured here is an actual surviving original Bollywood poster of the 2023 blockbuster Hindi action drama directed by Atlee that starred superstar Shah Rukh Khan in a double role.

Produced by Gauri Khan, Jawan (2023) also starred Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Priyamani and Sanya Malhotra in supporting roles, while Deepika Padukone and Sanjay Dutt made special appearances in the film.

Jawan (2023) tells the story of a father and son duo who team up to fight corruption in society. Released on Janmashtami (Lord Krishna’s birthday) on 7th September 2023, Jawan set several box office opening weekend and first week records, surpassing those set by SRK’s previous blockbuster released in the same year, Pathaan (2023).

A blockbuster of “epic” proportions, Jawan crossed the 1000 crore rupees mark in global collections. The film went on to witness the biggest opening day in the history of Hindi cinema, by collecting 129.06 crores worldwide, making this original Jawan poster, highly collectible!

Printed and circulated during the debut of the film in theaters (somewhere in 2023), this SRK movie poster was designed for publicity of the film but never ended up being used.

This is a rare double-side printed poster, i.e. the same design is printed on the back of the poster inverse. Specially designed to be displayed inside a lightbox in multiplex theaters, this double-sided poster is printed on thick glossy paper.

Superstar Shah Rukh Khan is seen in a stunning black and white photograph, holding a pistol in his hand in this original Bollywood poster. A large close up of the superstar’s face covered in bandage is seen in the background. The title of the film appears in striking steel forged typography below.

Jawan (2023) was released simultaneously in three languages – Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. The release date of the film is mentioned on the bottom left of this Shah Rukh Khan poster.

The soundtrack album of Jawan (2023) was composed by Anirudh Ravichander. It featured gems such as “Zinda Banda”, “Chaleya” and “Not Ramaiya Vastavaiya.”

On November 2nd 2023, coinciding with superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s 58th birthday, Jawan was released on the OTT platform Netflix.
