No Entry movie poster for sale.
Featured here is an actual surviving original Bollywood poster of the 2005 Hindi comedy drama written and directed by Anees Bazmee that starred Anil Kapoor, Salman Khan, Fardeen Khan, Bipasha Basu, Esha Deol, Lara Dutta and Celina Jaitly in key roles.
Produced by Boney Kapoor, No Entry (2005) also starred Boman Irani, Sameera Reddy, Dinesh Hingoo, Razak Khan and Anjan Srivastava in supporting roles.
No Entry (2005) achieved blockbuster status at the box office and was the highest grossing film of the year, making this Bollywood movie poster, highly collectible!
An official remake of the Tamil film Charlie Chaplin (2002), No Entry (2005) told the story of two married couples, Kishan (Anil Kapoor) & Kajal (Lara Dutta) and Prem (Salman Khan) & Pooja (Esha Deol). Kishan and Prem are friends with very opposing personalities and lifestyles. Kishan is a committed husband married to a highly insecure and always doubting wife, Kajal. On the other hand, Prem is a playboy married to Pooja, who is a devoted and trusting wife. Kishan tries to expose Prem’s womanizing antics in front of his loyal wife Pooja, while Prem sends a prostitute called Bobby (Bipasha Basu) to honey trap and seduce Kishan. A comedy of confusions follow.
Printed and circulated during the debut release of the film in theaters (somewhere in 2005), this No Entry movie poster was designed for publicity of the film but never ended up being used.
Superstar Salman Khan is seen carrying Anil Kapoor on his shoulders, who in turn appears massaging his head. Actor Fardeen Khan is seen holding on to Anil Kapoor’s legs. Their shadow is seen on the ground below. All three appear smiling, giving away the genre of the film. A sultry picture of Bipasha Basu appears inside the title on the top left.
Typography used in this Salman Khan poster is primarily in English, with the title translated to Devanagari Hindi as well on the bottom right. The title is illustrated in squeezed candy font inside a large circle on the top left, resembling a traffic sign. The background of this No Entry movie poster is a minimal white, making the foreground stand out in contrast. A hilarious traffic sign that reads, “Dangerous Curves Ahead” is seen like a watermark all across the poster.
The soundtrack album of No Entry (2005) was composed by Anu Malik, while lyrics were written by Sameer. It featured the unforgettable title track, “Ishq Ki Galli Vich No Entry” sung by Sonu Nigam and Alisha Chinoy. “Just Love Me (Main Akela)” sung by Sonu Nigam and “Ishq Mein” sung by KK & Alisha Chinoy were also very popular at the time of the film’s release.
