This is an actual surviving Salman Khan movie poster of the 2003 film that featured the superstar in the lead role opposite debutante Bhumika Chawla.

Printed and circulated during the initial first release of the film (somewhere in 2003), this classic Bollywood poster was designed for publicity of the film but never ended up being used.

A romantic action drama directed by Satish Kaushik, Tere Naam was a remake of the Tamil film Sethu (1999) which was directed by Bala. The script of Tere Naam was written by Bala and is believed to be based on the true story of his friend who lost his mind and ended up in a mental asylum.

Tere Naam is regarded as the best performance of Salman Khan ever, making this Bollywood poster, highly collectible. The unforgettable character of Radhe Mohan that superstar Salman Khan essayed in the film won him the praise of critics and fans alike.

Superstar Salman Khan is seen in a stunning close up photograph behind a barbed wire in this Tere Naam movie poster. The actor is seen wielding a baseball bat in a smaller still below. The typography used in this Salman Khan poster is both in English as well as in Devanagari Hindi. The subtitle reads, “Unfortunately a true love story,” giving away the theme of the film.

Tere Naam bagged numerous awards. The soundtrack of the film sold over three million units, thanks to its twelve chart topping songs and became the best selling Bollywood soundtrack of its decade. The music of the film was composed by Himesh Reshammiya and Sajid-Wajid.

Songs like “Tere Naam” and “Odhni” sung by Udit Narayan and Alka Yagnik as well as “Lagan Lagi” sung by Sukhwinder Singh are played till today. In 2011 the film’s director Satish Kaushik announced a sequel to Tere Naam, but as of 2021 no such sequel has materialized.
