Independence Day (1996) at the time of it’s release became one of the highest grossing films of all time, coming in second only to the billion dollar blockbuster, Jurassic Park (1993).

The film won the Academy Award for Best Visual Effects and is considered by many as one of the best alien movies every made, making this original Independence Day 1996 movie poster, highly collectible!

Printed and circulated in India during the local release run of the film (somewhere in the 1990s), this Independence Day movie poster was originally intended for publicity of the film but never ended up being used.
