At the age of just twenty four, Raj Kapoor established his own studio, R.K. Films, and became the youngest Bollywood film director of his time, making his directorial debut with Aag (1948). In 1949 Raj Kapoor starred in Mehboob Khan’s hit film Andaz alongside Dilip Kumar and Nargis, which was his first major success as an actor. He had his first success as producer, director and lead actor of Barsaat, released in the same year. Raj Kapoor movie posters of all these hit films are highly collectible and very rare to find. In 1970 Raj Kapoor produced, directed and starred in his most ambitious project, Mera Naam Joker which took more than six years to complete. The film was released in Turkey as Palyaço, with locally designed and printed Raj Kapoor film posters used for publicity of the same.
