This is an actual surviving original old Bollywood poster of the blockbuster 2007 Hindi romantic comedy written and directed by Imtiaz Ali. Jab We Met starred actress Kareena Kapoor and actor Shahid Kapoor in the lead role.

Tarun Arora, Saumya Tandon, Dara Singh, Pavan Malhotra and Kiran Juneja played supporting roles in the film.

Jab We Met was a box office hit domestically as well as overseas, winning critical acclaim. The film fetched several awards, making this Jab We Met movie poster, highly collectible!

Printed and circulated during the first release of the film in theaters (somewhere in 2007), this Jab We Met movie poster was designed for publicity of the film but never ended up being used.

Kareena Kapoor and Shahid Kapoor are seen seated back to back in a stunning close up photograph at the center of this Bollywood poster. The photo is seen encased inside the window of a train. The title is seen written in both English as well as in Devanagari Hindi at the bottom in a number plate styled design. Polaroid photos, post-its and post cards are seen in an arrangement in the background, mentioning the credits of the film in this Jab We Met movie poster.

A message written on the top right on a post card in freestyle handwritten font reads, “Jab We First Met … on Punjab Mail,” giving away the plot of the film. The background of this Shahid Kapoor poster shows the exterior of a train compartment.

The soundtrack album of Jab We Met was composed by Pritam Chakraborty. Songs like “Nagada Nagada” sung by Sonu Nigam and Javed Ali, “Mauja Hi Mauja” sung by Mika Singh and “Aaoge Jab Tum” sung by Rashid Khan became chart toppers at the time of the film’s release and are played till date.

Shreya Ghoshal received the National Film Award for Best Female Playback Singer for the super hit song “Yeh Ishq Haaye.” Subsequent to its massive success at the box office, Jab We Met was later remade in Tamil as Kanden Kadhalai and later dubbed in Telugu as Priya Priyathama.
