Mohabbatein poster for sale.
Featured here is an original Bollywood poster of the old 2000 Hindi film written and directed by Aditya Chopra that featured the “King of Bollywood,” SRK in the lead role.
Produced by Yash Chopra, Mohabbatein was Aditya Chopra’s second directorial venture after Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (1995). Filmed partly in the UK, Mohabbatein (2000) also starred the biggest superstar in Indian cinema, Amitabh Bachchan along with ex-Miss World (1994), Aishwarya Rai. Six young debutantes, Uday Chopra, Jugal Hansraj, Jimmy Shergill, Shamita Shetty, Kim Sharma and Preeti Jhangiani played supporting roles in the film.
The film was a massive commercial as well as critical success. Shah Rukh Khan won the Filmfare Critics Award for Best Actor for his role as music teacher “Raj Aryan Malhotra” in the film, while Amitabh Bachchan bagged the Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actor for his portrayal of headmaster “Narayan Shankar.”
Mohabbatein is the first film to feature the greatest superstars of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan and Amitabh Bachchan together, making this original Bollywood poster, highly collectible!
Printed and circulated during the first release of the film in theaters (somewhere in the year 2000), this Mohabbatein poster was originally designed for publicity of the film but never ended up being used.
A stunning Shahrukh Khan Aishwarya Rai picture is seen prominently in this SRK movie poster. Superstar Shah Rukh Khan is seen holding the violin and embracing actress Aishwarya Rai. The romantic Shahrukh Khan Aishwarya Rai photo is surrounded by maple leaves in the background.
The soundtrack of Mohabbatein (2000) was composed by Jatin-Lalit, while lyrics were penned by Anand Bakshi. It was a blockbuster upon release. Songs like “Humko Humise Chura Lo,” “Chalte Chalte Yunhi Ruk Jaata Hoon Main” and “Aankhein Khuli Ho Ya Ho Band” are fondly remembered and played till today.
