    This is an actual surviving vintage Bollywood poster of the 1975 film directed by Hrishikesh Mukherjee that featured Dharmendra, Sharmila Tagore, Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan in lead roles.

    Printed and circulated somewhere during the first release of the film (Mid 1970s), this old vintage Bollywood movie poster was originally designed for publicity of the film but never ended up being used.

    This Bollywood poster was originally designed on a hand painted canvas by one of the greatest Bollywood poster painters of all time, D.R. Bhosle, making it highly collectable. It features a very restrained and minimal design, which is typical of D.R. Bhosle’s artwork. The two leading couples are depicted in romantic poses at the top and bottom respectively. Typography appears completely in Devanagari Hindi.

    Chupke Chupke (1975) is a hit Bollywood comedy directed by Hrishikesh Mukherjee starring Dharmendra, Sharmila Tagore, Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan, Om Prakash, Asrani and Keshto Mukherjee. This film is one of two released in 1975 to cast Dharmendra and Amitabh together, the other being Sholay.

    This is an actual surviving original PK Hindi movie poster of the blockbuster 2014 comedy drama written and directed by Rajkumar Hirani that starred Aamir Khan, Anushka Sharma, Sushant Singh Rajput, Boman Irani, Saurabh Shukla and Sanjay Dutt in prominent roles.

    PK is based on the story of an alien (played by superstar Aamir Khan) who comes to Earth on a research mission. The film bagged numerous awards, most notably two Filmfare Awards and two Screen Awards. The film also won the Telstra People’s Choice Award at the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne.

    PK was the first Indian film to gross over $100 million worldwide and $10 million in North America (US and Canada). Shortly after its debut in theaters, PK became the highest-grossing Indian film of all time in both domestic as well as international markets, making this Aamir Khan PK poster, highly collectible.

    Printed and circulated before the original first release of the film in 2014, this PK  movie poster was printed for publicity of the film but never ended up being used.

    In July 2014 subsequent to its printing and distribution, this Aamir Khan PK poster sparked a controversy in the country as it featured the superstar posing almost nude with only a vintage radio covering his modesty. Although the Central Board of Film Certification had cleared the film, a PIL was filed in the court to ban its release citing nudity and vulgarity. The Supreme Court of India subsequently dismissed the plea and gave the film a green signal. The vintage radio cassette player image became instantly popular, earning the moniker of “PK radio.”

    Hum Aapke Hain Koun was released in 1994, at a time when the entire Bollywood movie poster design industry had shifted from hand painted art to computer aided graphic design. As such, movie posters designed for publicity of the film were all photographic.

    This very rare hand painted Bollywood poster of Hum Aapke Hain Koun was originally designed on a hand drawn canvas by a small time art studio in Kolkata.

    It is the only hand painted Bollywood movie poster of the film Hum Aapke Hain Koun known to exist, making it highly collectible.

    This two sheet Salman Khan movie poster measures a stunning 60″x40″ inches in size when its two individual sheets are joined or pasted together. The poster comprises two separate single sheets, each measuring 40″x30″ inches.

    In this vintage Bollywood movie poster, the lead romantic couple, Salman Khan and Madhuri Dixit are seen locked in a gaze in a quirky hand painted rendition on the left hand side of the poster. An iconic dancing pose of the two in silhouette form appears alongside, inspired from a memorable song from the film. This quirky Salman Khan movie poster is set against a blue background. The title of the film appears in both English as well as Devanagari Hindi.

    Two sheet posters comprise two separate individual single sheet posters measuring 40″x30″ inches each. When pasted together they line up perfectly and together form one single two sheet poster. In the attached image, there may be a slight gap visible between the two – as the images of the top and bottom half have been photographed individually and then joined together digitally.
