Co-written and directed by Abhishek Chaubey, Udta Punjab (2016) also starred Satish Kaushik, Prabhjyot Singh, Manav Vij and Ishaan Khatter in supporting roles.

Based on the real life crisis of drug abuse by youth in the Indian state of Punjab, the film was a commercial as well as critical success. For their stellar performance in the film, Alia Bhatt won the Best Actress award while Shahid Kapoor bagged the Critics award for Best Actor at the 62nd Filmfare Awards, making this Udta Punjab movie poster, highly collectible!
