This is an actual surviving vintage Bollywood poster of the 1980 action Hindi film that starred Sanjeev Kumar, Shatrughan Sinha, Mala Sinha and Reena Roy in prominent roles.
Produced by K. D. Shorey and directed by Raghunath Jhalani, Be-Reham also starred Kader Khan, I. S. Johar, Viju Khote, Keshto Mukherjee, Manmohan and M. B. Shetty in supporting roles. Helen and Moushumi Chatterjee had guest appearances in the film.
Printed and circulated during the initial release run of the film (somewhere in the early 1980s), this vintage Bollywood poster was designed for publicity of the film but never ended up being used.
This real movie poster was originally designed using a combination of both hand painted art as well as photographic collage techniques by an art studio in Bombay called Studio Link. The printed signature of the Bollywood poster studio is seen on the bottom left.
A stunning illustrated portrait of actor Sanjeev Kumar wearing a police uniform is seen prominently on the left of this Bollywood poster. Smaller photographic stills of actor Kader Khan and actress Mala Sinha are seen at the bottom.
The title of the film appears in bright red prominently in Devanagari Hindi on the top with a smaller translation in English at the bottom. A police jeep colliding with an airplane engulfed in flames is depicted in a hand drawn illustration at the bottom of this real movie poster, giving away the action theme of the film.
The soundtrack album of Be-Reham was composed by the hit duo Laxmikant–Pyarelal.
