Featured here is a rare original old Bollywood poster of the 1990 action Hindi film produced and directed by Abdul Sattar that starred Sadashiv Amrapurkar, Anil Kochar, V. Malthi, Ali Khan, Meghna Srivastava, Hasan Khan, Shirawani, Rajeev Kumar, Firoz Irani, Vasudeo Bhatt, Allauddin, Rashmi, Manasi, Ram Mohan Vyas, Mehar Mittal and Bharat Kapoor.
Printed and circulated a few years after the first release of the film (somewhere in the 1990s), this hand drawn Indian art poster was designed for publicity of the film but never ended up being used.
This vintage Bollywood poster was originally designed in hand painted oil on canvas format and features stunning illustrated artwork. Typography used in the poster is primarily in English, with a translation of the title in Hindi at the bottom.
A large close up illustration of actor Sadashiv Amrapurkar is seen on the top right. He is seen wearing aviator glasses. Smaller hand painted portraits of the two lead actors and actress appear alongside.
The entire poster is set against a stunning red background, with the faces painted in a mix of yellow, brown and black hues, making this Indian art poster extremely eye catching.
The title of the film appears primarily in yellow, with only the first word “In” appearing in the background color (red).
