Printed and circulated a few years after the first release of the film (somewhere in the 1980s), this old Amitabh movie poster was originally designed for publicity of the subsequent re-release of the film but never ended up being used.
This poster has been paper backed, i.e. glued on thick poster paper in order to safeguard it from wear and tear.
Trishul (1978) is a super hit Bollywood movie directed by Yash Chopra starring the greatest superstar of Indian cinema, Amitabh Bachchan. The film’s script was written by the hit writer duo Salim-Javed, and music composed by ace music director Khayyam. The film’s success at the box office prompted a subsequent remake in Tamil by Rajnikanth.

This is an actual vintage poster of the 1972 epic film directed by perfectionist Kamal Amrohi that won critical acclaim and is remembered till date for its memorable footprint on the history of Indian cinema.
Pakeezah reportedly took 14 years to make due to the separation between lead actress Meena Kumari (Tragedy Queen of Bollywood) and director Kamal Amrohi in 1964. The two decided to separate after twelve years of marriage, leaving the film stalled midway. The film was reportedly restarted in 1969 and finally completed in 1972.

Umrao Jaan is a 1981 award winning Hindi film based on the Urdu novel Umrao Jaan Ada that tells the story of a famous courtesan. The film starred actress Rekha and Farooq Shaikh in lead roles.

This poster was originally designed on a hand painted canvas by the greatest and highest paid Bollywood movie poster artist of all time, Diwakar Karkare.
In the poster, Diwakar captures the original angry young man of Bollywood, Amitabh Bachchan, running from the police. Zeenat Aman is shown as a much smaller figure, holding a gun at the bottom right corner.
