Katrina Kaif poster for sale: Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani (2009).
This is an actual surviving original Bollywood movie poster of the 2009 Hindi romantic comedy written and directed by Rajkumar Santoshi that starred Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif in lead roles.
Zakir Hussain, Navneet Nishan, Smita Jaykar, Govind Namdeo and Dolly Bindra played supporting roles in Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani (2009), while Salman Khan made a guest appearance.
The film was a critical as well as commercial success. For his stellar performance in the film, Ranbir Kapoor won Best Actor (Critics) award at the 55th Filmfare Awards, making this Katrina Kaif poster, highly collectible!
Printed and circulated during the debut of the film in theaters (somewhere in 2009), this Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani poster was designed for publicity of the film but never ended up being used.
This Bollywood poster uses a comic book style in its design. Lead couple Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif are seen side by side in a dancing pose. The title of the film is seen creatively styled into comic book speech bubbles on the top.
A black border added to this Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani poster completes it’s comic book feel, making it look like a cover page. The credits at the bottom are added in different colored strips as well.
A minimal white background is seen in this Katrina Kaif poster, with faint illegible writing appearing all over. Typography used in this original Bollywood poster is entirely in English. The pleasing minimalist design of this Ranbir Kapoor movie poster makes it very appealing. Corporate logos of the film’s sponsor as well as digital partner are seen on the bottom left and right corners respectively.
The soundtrack album of Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani (2009) was composed by Pritam and became a rage throughout the nation during it’s release. Songs such as “Tera Hone Laga Hoon” and “Tu Jaane Na” are fondly played till date.
Bengali film Mon Je Kare Uru Uru (2010) is believed to be inspired from Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani (2009).
