Featured here is a rare original old Bollywood poster of the 1989 Hindi family drama directed by Manik Chatterjee that starred Rekha, Rakesh Roshan and Utpal Dutt in key roles.

Bahurani (1989) also starred Usha Kiran, Deven Verma, Urmila Bhatt and Rakesh Bedi in supporting roles.

Printed and circulated a few years after the first release of the film (somewhere in the 1990s), this Rekha poster was designed for publicity of the film but never ended up being used.

This vintage Bollywood poster was originally designed in hand painted oil on canvas format by a movie poster design studio in Kolkata and features stunning illustrated artwork.

A pleasing hand drawn illustration of actress Rekha is seen at the center. She is depicted holding a pooja thali (prayer plate) containing a lit diya (lamp) in her hand. She is seen again embracing actor Rakesh Roshan at the bottom of this quirky hand drawn Bollywood poster. A line drawing rendition of actor Utpal Dutt in a hilarious pose is seen on the top right of this Rekha poster.

The entire poster is painted in a stunning mix of yellow and red, making it extremely eye catching. Typography used in this Bahurani movie poster is primarily in English, with a translation of the title in both Devanagari Hindi as well as Bengali on the top left.

The soundtrack album of Bahurani was composed by noted by music composer R. D. Burman.
