Featured here is an original Bollywood poster of the 2011 Hindi romance action drama written and directed by Siddique that starred Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor in key roles.

Produced by Atul & Alvira Agnihotri along with Reliance Entertainment, Bodyguard (2011) also starred Raj Babbar, Mahesh Manjrekar, Aditya Pancholi, Hazel Keech, Rajat Rawail, Vidya Sinha and Chetan Hansraj in supporting roles. Actress Katrina Kaif made a special appearance in the title song, “Bodyguard.”

The remake of a 2010 Malayalam film of the same name, Bodyguard (2011) told the story of an honest simpleton called Lovely Balwant Singh (Salman Khan) who is assigned to protect the daughter of a high profile politician (Kareena Kapoor). The two end up falling in love with each other.

Bodyguard (2011) smashed several records upon it’s release, achieving the highest opening day collections for any Bollywood film. It crossed the coveted ₹100 crore mark in its very first week, making this Bodyguard movie poster, highly collectible!

Printed and circulated during the first release of the film in theaters (somewhere in 2011), this Salman Khan poster was originally designed for publicity of the film but never ended up being used.

This original Bodyguard movie poster features actress Kareena Kapoor at the center in a pink dress. She is surrounded by four mirroring images of superstar Salman Khan dressed in a black suit and aviator glasses, with a headset on one ear.

The soundtrack album of Bodyguard (2011) was composed by Himesh Reshammiya and Pritam. It was a blockbuster success upon it’s release, with songs such as the title track “Bodyguard” and “Teri Meri Prem Kahani” fondly remembered and played till date.
