This is an actual surviving Salman Khan movie poster of the 2012 Hindi action film that featured the superstar in the lead role opposite Sonakshi Sinha. Directed by Arbaaz Khan in his directorial debut, the film also starred Mahie Gill, Vinod Khanna, Prakash Raj, Pankaj Tripathi, Deepak Dobriyal, Tinnu Anand, Kareena Kapoor and Malaika Arora Khan.

Printed and circulated during the original first release of the film in 2012, this Dabangg 2 poster was designed for publicity of the film but never ended up being used.

The second installment in the highly successful Dabangg franchise, Dabangg 2 came in second only to the Salman Khan starrer Ek Tha Tiger (that released in the same year) in terms of highest box office collections for 2012.

Superstar Salman Khan is seen in a stunning photograph firing a revolver in this Dabangg 2 poster. An announcement on the top of this Salman Khan poster reads, “Here comes Chulbul Pandey.” The typography used in this Bollywood poster is entirely in English.

One of the songs from the film, “Fevicol Se” sung by Shreya Ghoshal became a rage throughout the nation upon the album’s release. Featuring actress Kareena Kapoor, the song is fondly recalled and played till today. “Pandey Jee Seeti” and “Dagabaaz Re” were two other hit songs from the album. The last and final installment in the franchise, Dabangg 3, was released in 2019.
