Delhi Belly (2011) was a Hinglish film, with seventy percent of the dialogues in English and only thirty percent in Hindi. Due to its profanity, violence and sexual content, Delhi Belly was released under an ‘A’ certificate.
Printed and circulated during the debut of the film in theaters (somewhere in 2011), this Delhi Belly poster was designed for publicity of the film but never ended up being used.
The three lead actors of the film, Imran Khan, Kunaal Roy Kapur and Vir Das are seen prominently in this original Bollywood poster. The appear to be beaten up. The film is declared a “Super Hit” at the top. This Delhi Belly poster features a title with ample bling, encrusted with diamonds.
The soundtrack album of the film was composed by Ram Sampath. The song “Bhaag D.K. Bose” created massive controversy upon its release as the words “D K Bose, D K Bose” juxtaposed together and sung at a quick pace sounded like a popular expletive used in India. The film was remade in Tamil as Settai (2013).
