Insaf Ka Tarazu movie poster for sale.
This is an actual surviving original Bollywood poster of the hit 1980 Hindi film produced and directed by B.R. Chopra that starred Zeenat Aman, Raj Babbar, Padmini Kolhapure and Deepak Parashar in key roles.
Iftekhar, Simi Garewal and Dr. Shreeram Lagoo played supporting roles in this hit revenge courtroom drama, while Dharmendra made a guest appearance.
The film is believed to be inspired from the Hollywood movie, Lipstick (1976). For her stellar performance in Insaf Ka Tarazu (1980), Padmini Kolhapure won Best Supporting Actress at the 28th Filmfare Awards. Raj Babbar’s portrayal of an evil rapist in the film won him instant recognition among both critics and masses.
The film marked the debut of actors Raj Babbar and Deepak Parashar, both of whom went on to build successful careers in Indian cinema, making this original Bollywood poster, highly collectible!
Printed and circulated during the first release of the film in theaters (somewhere in 1980), this vintage Bollywood poster was designed for publicity of the film but never ended up being used.
This Insaf Ka Tarazu movie poster was originally designed using photographic collage techniques by a Bollywood poster design studio in Bombay called Tulika.
A large still photo of Zeenat Aman taking aim from a pistol is seen prominently in this vintage Bollywood poster. Blood is seen dripping from her forehead. A rape scene from the film featuring Raj Babbar and Zeenat Aman is seen at the bottom in another still picture. Dripping blood is seen bordering this Insaf Ka Tarazu movie poster on the left and right, giving away the plot of the film.
The title of the film appears at the center in stunning 3D styled typography in yellow and black. Lady Justice is seen on the top. Typography used in this Zeenat Aman poster is entirely in English.
The soundtrack album of this Insaf Ka Tarazu was composed by Ravindra Jain and written by Sahir Ludhiyanvi. The film’s popularity led to subsequent regional remakes: Edi Dharmam Edi Nyayam (1982) in Telugu and Neethi Devan Mayakkam (1982) in Tamil.
