Featured here is a rare original old Bollywood poster of the 1986 action Hindi film directed by Sanjay Khan that starred him along with Sunil Dutt, Anita Raj, Akbar Khan and Amrita Singh in key roles.

The film also featured a stellar ensemble supporting cast comprising Anupam Kher, Saeed Jaffrey, Sujit Kumar, Shreeram Lagoo, Shafi Inamdar, Bob Christo, Mohan Agashe, Bharat Bhushan, Satyen Kappu, Sudhir Dalvi, Sulochana Latkar and Jeevan. Shammi Kapoor made a special appearance in Kala Dhanda Goray Log (1986).

The title of film when translated to English means, “Black business, White people.” After the film’s release, this became a popular phrase to define corruption in high places.

The film was Sanjay Khan’s last, post which he shifted to television, making this Kala Dhanda Goray Log poster, highly collectible!

Printed and circulated a few years after the first release of the film (somewhere in the late 1980s), this quirky art poster was designed for publicity of the film but never ended up being used.

This vintage Bollywood poster was originally designed in hand painted oil on canvas format and features stunning illustrated artwork. Typography used in the poster is primarily in English, with a translation of the title in Hindi at the bottom.

A large close up illustration of actor and director Sanjay Khan is seen on the top taking aim from a pistol. Smaller quirky portraits of actors Sunil Dutt and Anupam Kher are seen on the left, while the two actresses, Anita Raj and Amrita Singh are seen below.

A hand holding one hundred rupee notes is seen at the center of this quirky art poster above the title. The entire poster is painted in a stunning mix of yellow and red hues, making it extremely eye catching.
