The film’s narration was by Nana Patekar and Diya Mirza made a special appearance in one of the songs.

Printed and circulated during the first release of the film in theaters (somewhere in 2006), this Phir Hera Pheri poster was originally designed for publicity of the film but never ended up being used.

A sequel to Hera Pheri (2000), the film is partly inspired from Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels (1998) and also influenced by Charlie Chaplin’s cult classic, The Circus (1928).

Hera Pheri (2000) and Phir Hera Pheri (2006) are together considered the best Bollywood comedy franchise of all time, making this Hindi comedy movies poster, highly collectible!

This Phir Hera Pheri poster features the three lead actors in close up still photographs. Actor Paresh Rawal who essays the iconic character of “Baburao Ganpatrao Apte” aka “Babu Bhaiya” is seen at the center of this Hindi comedy movie poster. Akshay Kumar who plays “Raju” is seen on the left, while Suniel Shetty, who plays “Shyam” is seen on the right. The background of the poster is plain white, with a grid pattern of polka dots seen on the top.

The title of the film appears in red in Devanagari Hindi on the top, with a couple of dice at the center. It is followed by the message “… Enjoy.” Typography used in this Baburao poster is a mix of both Hindi as well as English. The names of the actors along with their characters are mentioned in the credits at the bottom of this Phir Hera Pheri poster.

Paresh Rawal received worldwide acclaim for his comic timing and acting in the Hera Pheri franchise, with critics calling it one of his finest performances ever. His character “Baburao Ganpatrao Apte” aka “Babu Bhaiya” has become one of the most widely used characters in Internet memes.

Phir Hera Pheri is considered a cult comedy and remains one of the most successful sequels ever made in Indian cinema. A hilarious scene from the film where Akshay Kumar insists on repaying Rimi Sen by taking her out to find change for a thousand rupees was actually copied from Itni Si Baat (1981), which starred Sanjeev Kumar and Moushumi Chatterjee.

The soundtrack album of Phir Hera Pheri was composed by Himesh Reshammiya and was a blockbuster upon it’s release. Songs such as the title track “Phir Hera Pheri” sung by Sonu Nigam and Shaan, “Dil De Diya” sung by Sunidhi Chauhan and “Mujhko Yaad Sataye Teri” and “Aye Meri Zohrajabeen” both sung by Himesh Reshammiya are fondly recalled and played till today.
