Featured here is an actual surviving original Bollywood poster of the 1969 Hindi drama directed by noted filmmaker Hrishikesh Mukherjee that starred Biswajeet and Mala Sinha in lead roles.

Ramesh (Biswajeet) is a modern thinking, carefree bachelor who loves living the high life. His parents think the best way to make him responsible is to get him a traditional wife. Ramesh desires to go abroad for higher education. His parents agree to the same on one condition – Ramesh must marry a woman of their choice first. Sudha (Mala Sinha) is selected as the perfect match for Ramesh, as she is the perfect embodiment of virtue and simplicity. However, Ramesh plays along with the marriage only so that he can satisfy his parents’ condition and leaves for the UK the day after the wedding without consummation. Sudha is heartbroken and tries to commit suicide. She is stopped from ending her life by an old man called Shankarnath (Ashok Kumar). After learning her plight, Shankarnath decides to help Sudha out in winning Ramesh’s affection. He teaches her English and the ways of the world, transforming her identity completely. Sushma now takes on an alias of Sudha and Shankarnath sends her to the UK to woo her husband back. However, things get complicated when Shankarnath learns that his granddaughter Jenny (Helen) in the UK has met Ramesh there and already fallen in love with him.
Printed and circulated during the original first release of the film (somewhere in 1969), this vintage Bollywood poster was designed for publicity of the film but never ended up being used.
This Pyar Ka Sapna was originally designed in hand painted oil on canvas format by a leading Bollywood poster artist from Bombay.
