This is an actual surviving old publicity poster of the 1990 Hindi film that featured some of Bollywood’s greatest villains, Amrish Puri, Goga Kapoor, Shakti Kapoor, Raza Murad and Kader Khan (special appearance).

Directed by Pappu Verma, Qayamat Ki Raat also starred Aasif and Sabeena. Veeru Devgan was the action director of this supernatural Hindi film.

Printed and circulated somewhere in the early 1990s, this hand drawn vintage horror poster illustration was printed for publicity of the film but never ended up being used.

This poster was originally designed in hand painted oil on canvas format by a poster art studio in Kolkata, giving it a very quirky appearance. The design of this hand painted Bollywood horror poster captures Amrish Puri in a striking portrait holding a Trishul in his hand. Aasif and Sabeena are seen in a romantic embrace at the bottom of this classic horror poster.

A striking combination of red and yellow used in this illustration makes it one of the coolest and best horror movie posters in terms of its art. An eye dripping blood is seen encased inside the letter Q in the movie title on the top. Typography used in this Hindi horror poster is both in English as well as in Devanagari Hindi.

Music of Qayamat Ki Raat was composed by Laxmikant-Pyarelal, while lyrics were written by Hasrat Jaipuri.
