This is an actual surviving original old Bengali movie poster of the 1996 drama film directed by Anup Sengupta that starred Tapas Pal, Nayana Das and Savitri Chatterjee in key roles.

Printed and circulated during the theatrical run of the film (somewhere in the 1990s), this typography poster was originally designed for publicity of the film but never ended up being used.

This old Bengali film poster was originally hand painted on canvas by a poster design studio in Kolkata. Interestingly, it features a landscape orientation as opposed to the standard portrait layout of movie posters. An announcement on the top right declares a significant milestone achieved by the film. Names of the key actors from the film are mentioned on the top left of this vintage typography poster.

This Sinthir Sindoor poster is set in a single tone of green, with the text in yellow and white. Typography used in this original vintage movie poster is entirely in Bengali. The title of the film appears in a very artistic font, with two eyes intertwined into the letters.

A small panel has been deliberately left blank at the bottom right of this typography poster to allow individual theaters to write their show dates and timings manually into the same.
