This is a rare surviving Amitabh film poster that featured the undisputed “Shahenshah of Bollywood” along with stars such as Aamir Khan, Katrina Kaif, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub, Ronit Roy and Lloyd Owen. The action drama was written and directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya and produced by Aditya Chopra under the Yash Raj Films banner.
Printed and circulated during the debut release of the film in theaters (somewhere in 2018), this Thugs of Hindostan movie poster was originally designed for publicity of the film but never ended up being used.
Thugs of Hindostan is the first film to feature “One-man industry” Amitabh Bachchan and superstar Aamir Khan together in lead roles. A special edition of the film edited by Aamir Khan was released in China at the end of 2018.
