This is an actual surviving classic poster of the 2006 Hindi film that featured former Miss World Aishwarya Rai in the lead role as the famous courtesan Umrao Jaan. Directed by J.P. Dutta, Umrao Jaan also featured Abhishek Bachchan, Shabana Azmi, Sunil Shetty, Divya Dutta, Himani Shivpuri and Kulbhushan Kharbanda in supporting roles.

Printed and circulated during the first release of the film (somewhere in 2006), this movie poster was originally designed for publicity of the film but never ended up being used.
