Featured here is an actual surviving original Bollywood poster of the blockbuster 1997 Hindi musical produced and directed by the “King of Bollywood romance” Yash Chopra that starred the “Baadshah of Bollywood” Shah Rukh Khan along with Madhuri Dixit and Karisma Kapoor in lead roles.

Produced under the prestigious Yash Raj Films banner, Dil To Pagal Hai (1997) also starred Akshay Kumar, Aruna Irani, Farida Jalal, Deven Verma and Suresh Menon in supporting roles.

The film won three National Film Awards and eight Filmfare Awards, making this Dil To Pagal Hai poster highly collectible!

Printed and circulated during a subsequent release run of the film (somewhere in the late 1990s), this Karishma Kapoor poster was originally designed for publicity of the film in north Indian theaters but never ended up being used.

Dil To Pagal Hai (1997) was Shah Rukh Khan’s third collaboration with Yash Raj Films after two consecutive hits Darr (1993) and Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (1995). Regarded as one of Yash Chopra’s finest films, Dil To Pagal Hai (1997) has attained cult status over the years.

The soundtrack of Dil To Pagal Hai (1997) was composed by Uttam Singh, while lyrics were written by Anand Bakshi. It became a rage throughout the nation upon it’s release. Songs from the film such as “Dil To Pagal Hai,”  “Are Re Are Yeh Kya Hua,” “Bholi Si Surat,” “Dholna,” “Pyar Kar” and “Koi Ladki Hai” sung by the legendary duo of Lata Mangeshkar and Udit Narayan are played till today.
