Presented by Sridhar under the Chithralaya Pictures Madras banner, Gehri Chaal (1973) was an action packed thriller that also starred Bindu, Prem Chopra, P. Jairaj, Prem Kumar, Jay Kumari, Babu Kalam and Chandrashekhar in supporting roles.

The film told the story of a bank chairman (played by P. Jairaj) who dies under mysterious circumstances before the final audit of his bank. He leaves behind a suicide note where he claims responsibility for embezzling a large sum of money from the bank. His two children, played by Amitabh Bachchan and Hema Malini must unravel the mystery before the final audit of the bank takes place which will destroy the family’s legacy and reputation.

Printed and circulated during the first release of the film in theaters (somewhere in 1973), this Gehri Chaal poster was originally designed for publicity of the film but never ended up being used.
