This is an actual surviving 90s Bollywood poster of the 1997 Hindi murder mystery movie that starred Bobby Deol, Manisha Koirala & Kajol in lead roles.

Printed and circulated during the screening of the film in theaters (somewhere in the late 1990s), this Gupt poster was designed for publicity of the film but never ended up being used.

Kajol became the first actress in the history of the Filmfare Awards to win the Best Performance in a Negative Role, making this Gupt poster, highly collectible!

This classic Hindi poster combines two separate design techniques – i.e. photographic collage as well as hand painted art. Actress Kajol is seen in a stunning hand painted rendition at the bottom left of this classic Bollywood poster. Manisha Koirala is seen in a stunning photograph on the right. Bobby Deol and Om Puri are seen in large prominent still photographs at the top of this Gupt poster. The gold medallion which plays a key role in the murder mystery is seen hanging from the center.

Sadashiv Amrapurkar, Raj Babbar, Paresh Rawal and Prem Chopra are seen in smaller passport styled still photographs at the bottom of this Gupt Hindi movie poster. The title of the film is seen both in English at the top as well as in Hindi prominently at the bottom. A dagger is seen piercing a heart in the logo, suggesting the murder mystery theme of the film.

Gupt featured an amazing soundtrack composed by Viju Shah, which won the Filmfare Best Background Score award. Songs from the film such as “Mushkil Bada Yeh Pyaar Hai,” “Duniya Haseeno Ka Mela” and the title track “Gupt Gupt” are fondly remembered till date.
