Featured here is an original Bollywood movie poster of the cult Hindi film, Hera Pheri (2000).

This is an actual surviving original Hera Pheri movie poster of one of the greatest comedy films ever made in Indian cinema that starred Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, Paresh Rawal and Tabu in lead roles.

Printed and circulated during the first release of the film (somewhere in the year 2000), this Hera Pheri minimalist poster was originally designed for publicity of the film but never ended up being used.

Directed by Priyadarshan, Hera Pheri has become a cult classic over the years, with a massive worldwide fan following. The film’s stellar success spawned a sequel called “Phir Hera Pheri,” which was released in 2006.

Hera Pheri was voted as the best Bollywood comedy film of all time in an online poll conducted by The Indian Express newspaper, making this Hera Pheri poster highly collectible! 

This Hera Pheri poster features the lead actors in close up still photographs. Actor Paresh Rawal who essays the iconic character of “Baburao Ganpatrao Apte” aka “Babu Bhaiya” is seen on the top of this Hera Pheri movie poster. Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, Tabu, Gulshan Grover and Om Puri are also seen on the poster. The background of the poster is split into two halves – one being black and the other white.

The title of the film appears in red as well, with a couple of dice at the center.  Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, Tabu, Gulshan Grover and Om Puri are seen in smaller images inside the title as well.

Paresh Rawal received worldwide acclaim for his comic timing and acting in Hera Pheri, with critics calling it one of his finest performances ever. His character “Baburao Ganpatrao Apte” aka “Babu Bhaiya” has become one of the most widely used characters in Internet memes. A song from the film, “Denewala Jab Bhi Deta Deta Chhappar Phaad Ke” is fondly recalled and played till today.
