Featured here is a rare surviving original classic Bollywood poster of the old 1999 blockbuster Hindi film directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali that starred superstars Salman Khan and Ajay Devgn in key roles opposite ex-Miss World, Aishwarya Rai.

Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam (1999) was a love triangle based on the story of a man who discovers that his newly married wife is in love with someone else and decides to unite the two. The film also starred Zohra Sehgal, Vikram Gokhale, Vinay Pathak and Helen in supporting roles.

Shot partly in Budapest, Hungary, Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam (1999) was released outside India as, “Straight from the Heart.” The film premiered in the Indian Panorama section at the 1999 International Film Festival of India.

The highest grossing film of 1999, Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam bagged 7 awards at the 45th Filmfare Awards, including Best Film, Best Director (Sanjay Leela Bhansali), Best Actress (Aishwarya Rai), and Best Male Playback Singer (Udit Narayan), making this Bollywood poster, highly collectible!

Printed and circulated during the first release of the film in theaters (somewhere in 1999), this Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam movie poster was designed for publicity of the film but never ended up being used.
