This is an actual surviving rare vintage original Bollywood poster of the 1973 Hindi mythological film directed by Manu Desai and produced by Ram Kumar.

Based on the legend of Lord Hanuman, this 1973 religious adventure drama starred Faryal, Om Prakash, Sailesh Kumar, Shyam Kumar, Snehlata and Sajjan in key roles.

Printed and circulated during the theatrical release of the film (somewhere in the 1970s), this Jai Hanuman poster was printed for publicity of the film but never ended up being used.

This old Bollywood poster was originally designed in hand painted oil on canvas format by an art studio in Delhi. The signature of Delhi Bollywood film poster painter Vishnu is seen on the bottom left.

Lord Hanuman is seen prominently in a stunning hand painted full length portrait, tearing his chest open to show his heart filled with love and devotion towards Lord Rama and Sita. His mace is seen on the ground.

A city is seen across the river in the background of this Jai Hanuman poster, with a crimson sky above. Typography used in this old mythology Bollywood poster is entirely in Devanagari Hindi, with the title appearing at the top in a minimal white font.

The songs of Jai Hanuman (1973) were composed by Narayan Dutt and written by Bharat Vyas.
