This is an actual surviving rare original Indian film poster of the 1952 Marathi movie that starred Usha Kiran, Master Vithal, Master Chhotu, Vivek, Vasant Shinde, Rajbasant and Mangla.

Produced under the Surmai Chitra banner, Mard Maratha (1952) was directed by Keshav Talpade.

Printed and circulated during the first release of the film in theaters (somewhere in 1952), this rare Marathi film poster was printed for publicity of the film but never ended up being used.

This Mard Maratha movie poster was originally designed in hand painted oil on canvas format by a poster design studio in Bombay called Jai-Ma Arts.

A stunning hand painted illustration of a Maratha warrior on a horse is seen at the center, while a large close up of a Mughal is seen in the background. Two Marathas are seen overpowering a Mughal at the bottom of this old Marathi film poster, giving away the action plot of the movie.

Lettering used in this poster is entirely in Devanagari Hindi, with the title appearing in yellow.
