Featured here is an original Bollywood poster of the blockbuster Hindi film written and directed by Aditya Chopra that featured the “King of Bollywood,” SRK in the lead role.

Produced by Yash Chopra, Mohabbatein was Aditya Chopra’s second directorial venture after Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (1995). Filmed partly in the UK, Mohabbatein (2000) also starred the biggest superstar in Indian cinema, Amitabh Bachchan along with ex-Miss World (1994), Aishwarya Rai.

Six young debutantes, Uday Chopra, Jugal Hansraj, Jimmy Shergill, Shamita Shetty, Kim Sharma and Preeti Jhangiani played supporting roles in the film.

The film was a massive commercial as well as critical success. Shah Rukh Khan won the Filmfare Critics Award for Best Actor for his role as music teacher “Raj Aryan Malhotra” in the film, while Amitabh Bachchan bagged the Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actor for his portrayal of headmaster “Narayan Shankar.”

Mohabbatein is the first film to feature the greatest superstars of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan and Amitabh Bachchan together, making this rare Bollywood poster, highly collectible!

Stunning photographs of the three stars Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan and Aishwarya Rai are seen prominently in this Mohabbatein 2000 poster. Superstar Amitabh Bachchan is seen holding the waist of actress Aishwarya Rai, who is dressed in a white saree.

This rare Bollywood poster announces the successful 25-week run of the film in theaters with a line at the bottom that reads, “Silver 25 Jubilee.” To coincide with the silver jubilee theme, a silver background is used in this original Mohabbatein 2000 poster.

The soundtrack of Mohabbatein (2000) was composed by Jatin-Lalit, while lyrics were penned by Anand Bakshi. It was a blockbuster upon release. Songs like “Humko Humise Chura Lo,” “Chalte Chalte Yunhi Ruk Jaata Hoon Main” and “Aankhein Khuli Ho Ya Ho Band” are fondly remembered and played till today.
