This is an actual surviving original vintage Bollywood poster of the old 1966 Hindi romance produced and directed by J.B.H. Wadia under the “Wadia Brothers” production banner.

Tasveer starred Kalpana, Feroz Khan and Helen in key roles. Sajjan, Nazir Hussain, Lalita Pawar, Raj Mehra, Rajendra Nath and Sabina played supporting roles in the film.

The romance drama was based on the story of a man falling in love with a woman on seeing her hand painted canvas portrait.

Printed and circulated subsequent to the first theatrical release of the movie (somewhere in the late 1960s), this Delhi film poster was originally designed for publicity of the film but never ended up being used.

This Tasveer poster was originally hand painted on canvas by a poster art studio in Delhi. The lead couple Kalpana and Feroz Khan are seen captured in an intense emotional scene prominently in the poster. The artwork style used is similar to street art.
