Ek Gaon Ki Kahani (1975) was a remake of the super hit old Kannada film directed by Siddalingaiah, Bhootayyana Maga Ayyu (1974). The film was also remade in Tamil as Ellorum Nallavare (1975) and in Telugu as Andharoo Manchivaare (1976).

Ek Gaon Ki Kahani (1975) told the story of sworn enmity between two villagers and how they mend their relationship as time progresses.

Printed and circulated during the first release run of the film in theaters (somewhere in 1975), this old Kannada film poster was printed for publicity of the film but never ended up being used.
