Featured here is an actual surviving original Bollywood poster of the 1994 classic Hindi film written and directed Rajiv Rai that starred Akshay Kumar, Sunil Shetty, Raveena Tandon and Naseeruddin Shah in key roles.

Produced by Gulshan Rai and released under the Trimurti Films banner, Mohra (1994) also starred Paresh Rawal, Raza Murad, Gulshan Grover, Sadashiv Amrapurkar, Kulbhushan Kharbanda, Avtar Gill, Kunika, Tej Sapru, Razak Khan, Yunus Parvez, Vinay Sapru, Gavin Packard and Anil Nagrath in supporting roles.

Inspired from Death Wish 4: The Crackdown (1987), Mohra (1994) was a crime drama.

Actress Divya Bharti was originally considered for playing the female lead in Mohra. After her sudden demise, Raveena Tandon was roped in as a replacement. Songs from the film became a rage throughout the nation. In particular, the track “Tu Cheez Badi Hai Mast Mast” became so popular that it earned actress Raveena Tandon the moniker “The mast mast girl.”

Printed and circulated 50 weeks after the original first release of the film (somewhere in the early 1990s), this Mohra movie poster was designed for publicity of the golden jubilee of the film but never ended up being used.

Cashing in on the tremendous popularity of the song “Tu Cheez Badi Hai Mast Mast,” this rare celebratory poster printed during the successful 50th week run of the film proudly announces on the top “50th Mast Mast Week.”

The four lead actors of the film, i.e. Naseeruddin Shah, Akshay Kumar, Sunil Shetty and Raveena Tandon are seen prominently in photographic stills at the bottom of this original Mohra film poster.

The soundtrack album of Mohra (1994) was composed by Viju Shah, while lyrics were written by Indeevar and Anand Bakshi. The song “Tu Cheez Badi Hai Mast Mast” sung by Kavita Krishnamurthy and Udit Narayan is fondly remembered and played till today.
