Featured here is an actual surviving rare vintage Bollywood poster of the 1975 mythological film directed by C.S. Rao that starred S. V. Ranga Rao, Jamuna, Baby Rohini, Baby Sridevi, Ramakrishna, Gummadi, Krishna Kumari and S. Varalakshmi in key roles.

Originally made in Telugu and later released in Hindi as well as Kannada, Yashoda Krishna (1975) featured Baby Sridevi and Baby Rohini as Bala Krishna, while actor Ramakrishna played Lord Krishna. The film was a religious drama based on the life of Lord Krishna.

Yashoda Krishna (1975) marked the debut of actress Rohini Molleti. Five years old at the time, she appeared as as a child artist in the film playing the role of Bala Krishna. Actress Jamuna played the role of Yashoda, while S.V. Ranga Rao played the role of evil ruler Kamsa, marking his final appearance on screen.

Printed and circulated during the screening of the film in theaters (somewhere in the late 1970s), this Telugu movie poster was printed for publicity of the film but never ended up being used.

This hand drawn movie poster was originally designed in oil on canvas format by a movie poster design studio in Delhi. Bala Krishna or Baby Krishna is seen in the foreground eating butter with a pot of butter lying overturned besides him. Krishna’s mother Yashoda is seen in a large hand drawn rendition in the background.

Lord Krishna is seen hand painted in a shade of blue, wearing a peacock feather on his head. A suggestion of a home is seen in the background of this Telugu movie poster for sale.

Lettering used in this poster is entirely in Devanagari Hindi, with the title appearing prominently in red on the top outlined with a yellow border.
