This is an actual surviving set of old Bollywood lobby cards of the 1957 hit Hindi film that featured the “Marilyn Monroe of India,” Madhubala in the lead role.
Featured here for sale is a rare surviving set of six original old Bollywood lobby cards of the Madhubala starer, Gateway of India (1957)!
Printed and circulated during the original first release of the film (1950s), this old Bollywood picture set was printed for publicity of the film inside a cinema hall.
The four corners of each lobby card have been punched with ring holes to allow cinemas to pin them up on notice boards with ease.
