Produced by Vikram Mehrotra, Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa (1994) also starred Suchitra Krishnamurthy and Deepak Tijori in key roles. Naseeruddin Shah, Ashutosh Gowarikar, Satish Shah, Rita Bhaduri, Anjan Srivastava, Tiku Talsania, Ravi Baswani, Kurush Deboo, Aditya Lakhia, Goga Kapoor and Sadiya Siddiqui played supporting roles in this unforgettable classic, while Juhi Chawla and Ajit Vachani made special appearances.

Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa (1994) was released at a time when movie poster design techniques in India had completely shifted from handmade to digital. As such, no hand painted or hand drawn movie posters of this film were ever made during the publicity campaign surrounding its first release.

The soundtrack album of Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa (1994) was composed by duo Jatin-Lalit, while lyrics were written by Majrooh Sultanpuri. Songs from the film went on to become a rage throughout the nation and are played till today.

Songs like “Ae Kaash Ke Hum” sung by Kumar Sanu, “Aana Mere Pyar Ko Na Tum” sung by Kumar Sanu & Alka Yagnik, “Deewana Dil Deewana” sung by Amit Kumar & Udit Narayan and “Woh To Hai Albela” sung by Kumar Sanu & Devaki Pandit topped the charts at the time of its release.

It is reported that Shah Rukh Khan received only Rs. 25,000 for acting in the film (approximately $300 USD). Owing to it’s dream run at the box office, Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa (1994) was remade in Telugu as Swapnalokam (1999).
