Josh movie poster for sale.
This is an actual surviving original Bollywood poster of the old Hindi film released in the year 2000 that featured the “King of Bollywood,” superstar Shahrukh Khan and winner of the 1994 Miss World contest, Aishwarya Rai in lead roles.
An action romance, Josh (2000) was co-written and directed by Mansoor Khan. Chandrachur Singh, Sharad Kapoor, Anjan Srivastav, Vivek Vaswani, Sharat Saxena, Sushant Singh, Ali Asgar, Rajesh Khera, Manav Gohil and Shraddha Nigam played supporting roles in the film.
Josh is one among a few films of the Bollywood Baadshah’s career in which he played a negative role, making this Shahrukh Khan film poster highly collectible!
Printed and circulated prior to the original release of the film (somewhere in the year 2000), this Josh movie poster was originally designed for publicity of the film but never ended up being used.
Superstar Shah Rukh Khan is seen in a “biker gangster” avatar in this old Bollywood poster. Seated on a motorcycle, he is seen wearing leather gloves, sunglasses and a bandana on his forehead in this Josh movie poster. He is seen resting a football on his knee with one hand, while the other appears clenched threateningly into a fist.
A beautiful close up of Aishwarya Rai and Chandrachur Singh in a romantic pose is seen in the background. The title of the film appears in a stunning red font highlighted by fiery flames at the bottom of this SRK movie poster. A biker gang appears in silhouette woven into the logo at the bottom. Typography used in this Josh movie poster is entirely in Devanagari Hindi.
Set in Goa, the film is remembered for its catchy soundtrack, mainly for the songs “Apun Bola” (sung by Shah Rukh Khan himself), “Hai Mera Dil” (sung by Alka Yagnik and Udit Narayan) and “Sailaru Sailare,” which are fondly remembered and played till today.
