Dilwale poster for sale.
Featured here is an original Bollywood poster of the 2015 comedy action romance directed by Rohit Shetty that starred the biggest superstar in Indian cinema, Shah Rukh Khan along with Kajol, Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon.
Produced by Gauri Khan and Karim Morani under the Red Chillies Entertainment and Rohit Shetty Productions banner, Dilwale (2015) also featured a stellar supporting star cast comprising Pankaj Tripathi, Boman Irani, Vinod Khanna, Kabir Bedi, Johnny Lever, Mukesh Tiwari, Varun Sharma and Sanjay Mishra.
Dilwale (2015) was the last film to feature superstar Vinod Khanna, who passed away in 2017.
Printed and circulated during the first release of the film in theaters (somewhere in 2015), this Dilwale poster was originally designed for publicity of the film but never ended up being used.
A stunning close up group photograph of the four lead stars of the film is seen prominently in this Bollywood poster. Superstar Shah Rukh Khan appears at the center, with Kajol, Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon huddling around him. The stars are seen with grease over their faces. The “Baadshah of Bollywood” Shah Rukh and Varun Dhawan appear dressed in bandanas, giving away their characters as two brothers who are expert car tuners in the film.
Typography used in this SRK and Kajol movie poster is completely in Devanagari Hindi, with the title of the film seen in a striking forged metallic font at the bottom. Exploding cars are seen around the title, giving away the action oriented plot of the film.
Smaller figures of Shah Rukh and Varun Dhawan are seen leaping over the title, while Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon are seen riding an easy-rider motorcycle at the bottom of this Dilwale poster. The release date of the film, i.e.December 18, 2015 is announced at the bottom of this Shah Rukh Khan poster.
The soundtrack album of Dilwale (2015) was composed by Pritam, while lyrics were written by Amitabh Bhattacharya. The song “Gerua” sung by Arijit Singh and Antara Mitra became a blockbuster at the time of it’s release and is fondly remembered till today.
