Karwa Chauth poster for sale: Indian Hindu mythology movie.
Featured here is an actual surviving original Bollywood poster of the old 1994 Hindu mythology film written, co-produced and directed by Pradeep Pandit that starred Meera Madhuri, Manasvi and Deepak Qazir in key roles.
Co-produced by Ashok Jain and Pradeep Pandit under the Jodidar Pictures’ banner, Jai Maa Karwa Chauth (1994) also starred Firoz Irani, Arun Mathur, Kishore Bhanushali, Dedipya Bhanu, Nandita Thakur, Asha Sharma, Urmila Bhatt, Govardhan Lal Vyas, Ghanshyam Tilawat, Narendra Gupta, Mandvi Vyas, Ramesh Tiwari, Sudhir Dalvi and Renuka Singh in supporting roles.
Jai Maa Karwa Chauth (1994) was a mythological film based on the revered Hindu tradition of Karwa Chauth, where married and single women observe a sunrise-to-sunset fast once a year (on the fourth day of the lunar Hindu month), praying for the safety and longevity of their husbands or future partners.
Printed and circulated during the first release of the film in theaters (somewhere in 1994), this Jai Maa Karwa Chauth poster was printed for publicity of the film but never ended up being used.
This old Hindu mythology poster was originally designed in photographic collage format by cutting out stills of actors using a blade and pasting them on a board.
A striking photograph of Maa Karwa Chauth giving miraculous blessings (radiating from the palm of her raised hand) to her ardent devotee is seen depicted prominently on this old Bollywood poster. Mythological star Sudhir Dalvi who plays the role of divine sage Narad Muni is seen on the top right of this Jai Maa Karwa Chauth poster.
Typography used in this Indian mythology movie poster is entirely in Devanagari Hindi, with the title appearing in a highly creative 3D font, with an idol of Maa Karwa Chauth woven into the text.
The soundtrack album of Jai Maa Karwa Chauth (1994) was composed by C. Arjun and Kusum Anil, while lyrics were written by Kusum Joshi. It featured memorable songs such as “Sankat Door Kar De Mata” sung by Anupama Deshpande and “Aaj Kuch Kar Dikhaane Aa Gayi Hai Wo Hi Naari” sung by Mahendra Kapoor.
