Amitabh Bachchan movie poster for sale: Te3n (2016).
This is an actual surviving original Bollywood movie poster of the 2016 Hindi thriller written and directed by Ribhu Dasgupta that starred the greatest superstar in Indian cinema, Amitabh Bachchan.
Produced by Sujoy Ghosh, Te3n also starred Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Vidya Balan, Sabyasachi Chakrabarty, Padmavati Rao and Mukesh Chhabra.
An official remake of the South Korean film Montage (2013), Te3n featured Amitabh Bachchan playing the role of a grandfather who is searching for the person who kidnapped and murdered his granddaughter.
Printed and circulated during the debut of the film in theaters (somewhere in 2016), this Amitabh Bachchan movie poster was designed for publicity of the film but never ended up being used.
This original Te3n poster uses a very unique mirror image design technique. The reflections of superstar Amitabh Bachchan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui are seen on a puddle on a road which has two tram lines heading in opposite directions. The Howrah Bridge is seen in the background, which together with the tram lines giveaway the location context of the film – i.e. Kolkata. Amitabh is seen minus his beard, sporting only a mustache.
Typography used in this original Bollywood poster is entirely in English, and very uniquely, it too appears inverted as a reflection in the puddle. The release date of the film, i.e. 10th June is seen on the top. The puddle in this Te3n poster seems to resemble a human like shape.
The soundtrack album of Te3n was composed by Clinton Cerejo. One of the songs in the album, “Kyun Re” was sung by superstar Amitabh Bachchan himself. Despite a stellar star cast and strong script, the film was a commercial failure at the box office.
