Printed and circulated during a subsequent screening of the Amitabh Bachchan old movie (somewhere in the 1980s/1990s), this Kaala Patthar poster was originally designed for publicity of a local re-release of the film but never ended up being used.

Kaala Patthar (Black Stone) is a 1979 Hindi action film produced and directed by Yash Chopra. The story was written by Salim-Javed and it highlights the plight of workers in coal mines run by ruthlessly selfish owners. This film was the fourth collaboration between Amitabh Bachchan, Shashi Kapoor and director Yash Chopra after the hugely successful Deewaar (1975), Kabhie Kabhie (1976) and Trishul (1978).

In spite of doing average business at the box office, the film was critically acclaimed and received several Filmfare Award nominations. Kaala Patthar has attained cult status over the years and is considered a classic in Hindi cinema.
