This is an actual surviving original vintage Bollywood poster of the 1979 thriller that featured the greatest superstar of Indian cinema, Amitabh Bachchan in the lead role.
Printed and circulated during the theatrical release of the film (somewhere in the 1980s), this Amitabh Bachchan old movie poster was originally designed for publicity of the film but never ended up being used.
This The Great Gambler poster features interesting hand painted artwork in which smaller still photographs of the stars have been over painted. A large hand painted close up portrait of Amitabh is seen at the center in which he is holding a pistol. Smaller faces of Zeenat Aman and Neetu Singh appear painted inside the queen of spades and hearts respectively. A smaller portrait of Amitabh Bachchan appears on the king of spades playing card on the top. Two villains are seen at the bottom painted inside the jack of spades and hearts cards respectively. The title of this Amitabh Bachchan old movie poster is written partly in English and Hindi.
