This is an actual surviving original vintage Bollywood poster of the 1983 Hindi film that starred debutante Swapna along with Vijay Arora and Suresh Oberoi in key roles.

Directed by Desh Gautam, Ek Din Bahu Ka also starred Rita Bhaduri, Saeed Jaffrey, Lalita Pawar, Om Prakash, Shobha Khote, Madhu Malini and Shashi Puri in supporting roles. Aruna Irani, Manmohan Krishna and Ajit Vachani made guest appearances in the film.

Printed and circulated during the screening of the film in theaters (somewhere in the 1980s), this Ek Din Bahu Ka movie poster was originally designed for publicity of the film but never ended up being used.

Based on a strong women empowerment theme, Ek Din Bahu Ka dealt with sensitive issues of dowry, patriarchy, domestic violence and gender inequality in Indian marriages.
