This is an actual surviving original Bollywood movie poster of the 2013 Hindi political drama directed by Prakash Jha.

Satyagraha starred an ensemble cast comprising the greatest superstar in Indian cinema, Amitabh Bachchan, along with Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor, Arjun Rampal, Amrita Rao, Manoj Bajpayee and Vipin Sharma.

Amitabh Bachchan played the role of social activist Dwarka Anand in the film. His character was based largely on real life Indian social activist Anna Hazare.

Printed and circulated during the debut of the film in theaters (somewhere in 2013), this Satyagraha poster was designed for publicity of the film but never ended up being used.

Amitabh Bachchan, Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor, Arjun Rampal and Amrita Rao are seen in a scene from the film in this original Bollywood poster. They appear in the front row of a political protest with thousands of people rallying behind them. The drama and tensions in this Satyagraha poster are starkly visible as the protesters are being blasted with a water cannon and pushed back by riot police.

Typography used in this original Bollywood poster is entirely in Devanagari Hindi, with only the subtitle (The Revolution Has Begun!) appearing in English at the bottom. The names of the lead stars are credited on the top, while the release date of the film is mentioned at the bottom.

The soundtrack album of Satyagraha was composed by Salim–Sulaiman, Aadesh Shrivastava, Meet Bros Anjan and Indian Ocean. Despite being a well made film with a strong story line, it was a commercial failure at the box office.
