No Entry poster for sale.
Featured here is an actual surviving original Bollywood poster of the 2005 Hindi comedy drama written and directed by Anees Bazmee that starred Anil Kapoor, Salman Khan, Fardeen Khan, Bipasha Basu, Esha Deol, Lara Dutta and Celina Jaitly in key roles.
Produced by Boney Kapoor, No Entry (2005) also starred Boman Irani, Sameera Reddy, Dinesh Hingoo, Razak Khan and Anjan Srivastava in supporting roles.
No Entry (2005) achieved blockbuster status at the box office and was the highest grossing film of the year, making this Bollywood poster, highly collectible!
An official remake of the Tamil film Charlie Chaplin (2002), No Entry (2005) told the story of two married couples, Kishan (Anil Kapoor) & Kajal (Lara Dutta) and Prem (Salman Khan) & Pooja (Esha Deol). Kishan and Prem are friends with very opposing personalities and lifestyles. Kishan is a committed husband married to a highly insecure and always doubting wife, Kajal. On the other hand, Prem is a playboy married to Pooja, who is a devoted and trusting wife. Kishan tries to expose Prem’s womanizing antics in front of his loyal wife Pooja, while Prem sends a prostitute called Bobby (Bipasha Basu) to honey trap and seduce Kishan. A comedy of confusions follow.
Printed and circulated during the debut release of the film in theaters (somewhere in 2005), this No Entry poster was designed for publicity of the film but never ended up being used.
Superstar Salman Khan is seen wearing a sleeveless shirt, with his arms outstretched prominently at the center. He is flanked by Fardeen Khan on the left and Anil Kapoor on the right in perfect symmetry. Full figure still photos of Lara Dutta and Celina Jaitly are seen on the top left and right of this original Bollywood poster respectively.
Bipasha Basu and Esha Deol appear in posed photos on the bottom left and right of this No Entry poster. The entire background is left a minimal white, making the foreground stand out in contrast.
The entire lettering in this original Bollywood poster is in English, with the title illustrated in squeezed candy font inside a large circle at the bottom, resembling a traffic sign.
The soundtrack album of No Entry (2005) was composed by Anu Malik, while lyrics were written by Sameer. It featured the unforgettable title track, “Ishq Ki Galli Vich No Entry” sung by Sonu Nigam and Alisha Chinoy. “Just Love Me (Main Akela)” sung by Sonu Nigam and “Ishq Mein” sung by KK & Alisha Chinoy were also very popular at the time of the film’s release.
