Slumdog Millionaire (2008) bagged a total of eight Academy Awards, becoming the fifteenth film in the history of world cinema to win at least eight Academy Awards.
It is considered the most successful British independent film of all time, making this Slumdog Millionaire film poster, highly collectible!

This original Slumdog Millionaire film poster features a stunning still photo of the lead couple, Dev Patel and Freida Pinto. The two are seen celebrating, with confetti falling on them. The couple is flanked by actor Anil Kapoor on the right, who has his arms outstretched declaring Dev Patel as winner. He is seen in his character of game show host of the Indian version of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? (Kaun Banega Crorepati).
The still photos stand out against a minimal white background. Typography used in this original Slumdog Millionaire film poster is entirely in English, with the title appearing at the bottom. A line on the top of the poster announces the massive success of the film as, “SUPER HIT! 10 OSCAR NOMINATIONS. WORLDWIDE COLLECTION 400 CRORES” on the top and again at the bottom as, “BREAKING RECORDS ALL OVER.”
The soundtrack album of Slumdog Millionaire (2008) was composed by music maestro A.R. Rahman, while lyrics were written by Gulzar among others. It featured the chart topping hit, “Jai Ho” sung by Sukhwinder Singh, which won Best Original Song at the Academy Awards.
